How to use WiFi MAC Filter - Arris?

For Arris Cable Modem SBG6700 / SBG6580 / SBG5680-02

1. Open Chrome or Browse
2. Type in URL: 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.0.1
3. Enter your username & password

Default Username: admin
Default Password: password or motorola

4. Click Login
5. Go to Wireless
6. Go to Access Control
7. Change Mac Restrict Mode from Disabled to either Allow* or Deny*
8. Add the device's mac address on the MAC Addresses list. (Example: 01:23:45:67:89:AB)
9. Click Apply


*Allow - Devices with the Mac Address listed on MAC Addresses are the devices allowed to connect to the modem via wireless connection.

*Deny - Devices with the Mac Address listed on MAC Addresses are the devices that will be blocked from connecting to the modem via wireless connection.
